The weather did not help us out too much in week 7 but the hardcore guys
keep showing up no matter what. While we have less guys so far in 09, we
will shatter last years game totals with this dedicated group of wifflers!
Tuesday night game 1
Chris on a losing streak took on Tim who was on a winning streak.
Chris tossed a gem. He allowed just a double to Tim and fanned 5
Chris helped himself with 4 rbi's and Joe drove in 3.
Tim pitched well but had a tough 6 run 4th inning.
Final 7-0 Chris
Tuesday night game 2
Joe and Rob squared off in yet another pitcher's duel between the two.
Joe drove in the only 2 runs with a double and a sac fly.
Rob was solid allowing just 8 hits and whiffing 2.
Joe gave up 5 hits and k'd 8

Thursday night game 1
In a rainy game one Ben and Chris put on a relentless offensive attack
vs. Joe. They combined for 12 runs on 20 hits. Ben belted 5 homers and
Chris drove in a pair. Ben gave up just 7 hits and 2 runs on rbi doubles to
Tim and Joe.
Final 12-2 Ben
Thursday night game 2
For the second game in a row, Chris and Ben beat up on Joe and Tim.
The pitchers this time were Chris and Tim but it made little difference.
Ben had 12 hits and 2 homers and Chris drove in 4.
Chris allowed 3 hits in a 4 inning mercy kill.
Final 14-1 Chris.
Next games are Tuesday June 16th & Thursday June 18th
